What do you attribute your success to?
I started my career in health care at a local hospital and then moved into patient care. From there, I worked closely with hospitals before pivoting into ACG analysis. When I joined my current employer, I started in an entry-level position and worked my way up. Beginning at the bottom gave me valuable insight into the many roles within the organization, and it instilled in me the belief that hard work is central to success. Over time, I created the internal communications role and process, built the foundation, and scaled it for clinical solutions. Today, I oversee all internal communications for more than 1,000 employees. Professionalism and accomplishment allow my team to feel more connected to the work we do, making them more engaged and aware of what’s happening. For me, communication is not only key to effective operations but also to relationship-building and clarity.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay curious and always be willing to speak up. I believe in having integrity regardless of what the room thinks or suggests. Asking questions is essential, and I’ve learned that change is inevitable—it’s the only constant in life. That’s why I strive every day to be better and to push for improvement in myself and the work I do.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To young women entering this industry, my advice is to always focus on process improvement and continuous learning. Pursuing certifications is valuable because they not only strengthen leadership skills but also provide the tools to evolve into higher-level positions. Each certification I’ve pursued has allowed me to grow in my role and contribute at a higher level.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges in this industry is urgency—how do we move fast enough when lives are at stake? A central question I always consider is how to deliver products and services more quickly to the people who need them most. That challenge drives my commitment to innovation, efficiency, and excellence in all aspects of my work.
